Personal trainers are a dime a dozen but I hope to be the trainer who listens, watches and educates. I believe my experiences make me unique and I want to share what I've learned to help people.
Training over Zoom requires that both participants are keenly focused on the other for safety and effectiveness. If one of us has distractions (ringing phones, tech set up issues where we cannot see or hear each other well, signal drops, etc.), then your time is wasted and you risk injury. Working away from my studio requires you to build your own studio with appropriate equipment such as resistance bands, exercises mat, weights, etc. While I try to make what you already have work for you, you will need to be committed to investing in your gear from appropriate shoes to creating space. Zoom personal training sessions are not for everyone and I take the time to meet with you prior to our first paid sessions to make sure it's a fit.
Part of making sure we're a fit is to determine what you really need. I want you to see results and not need me anymore as soon as possible. Rates are based on need which is based on time. I prefer a six-week assessment-to-reassessment initial phase, at the end of which we'll know how much more is needed, another six-week program or just the occasional tune up. How often we meet, what you can commit to doing on your own, how long each session lasts, etc. all factor into the cost. And whether you decide to hire me or not, you will walk away from this process knowing your needs much better for having gone through it.
